Lizarding a la playa

It’s been few days we are lazing around in Ares, near La Coruna. It’s just a small family seaside resort. Not fantastic but still, there was a hardcore concert the night we arrived ;-)
We’re enjoying the sun, stuffing ourselves with fruits and surfing on internet from the boat (we catch the signal of the free wifi in the park up the beach). The wind is, well…how to say, changeable: it can blow all around the compass rose in one day and from force 0 to 4. For now, we have it mainly “in the nose” and we are not very excited to pass the Finisterre Cap with a backing wind. So we are staying here a little bit longer. Yesterday evening, we gave it a try, we left the mooring at full speed, crossing the ria at more than 6 knots but near the exit the wind fell all at the sudden and we were stuck. Then we came back to Ares…Our next destination will be either Corme/Laxe (35M) or Camarinas (55M), will depend how persistent we are at tacking.
